I would hit you up in a heartbeat on that one, but I start a new job on Wednesday and will have no vaca time for six months. I am taking an unpaid four-day vaca in June to go to Vince's family reunion. Lookin' forward to meetin' the rest of the gang!
Thanks for the offer.

Fuel is a small price to pay for this trip, even if the price is ridiculous. We're in store for some good times!
Btw, looks like I've added one more to my group for a total of 3 so far. Might even add one more before it's all over.

I'm stoked . . . I hope to be in reasonably good riding "shape" since I will have completed 3 harescrambles and several local rides by the weekend of our trip.
And I can't wait to meet all you guys, welcome to the "family" !!

Honestly that is the way I think of it, it will still hurt me though. My friend who I was supposed to go with broke his wrist this weekend, so I'm not sure if he can go, which delegates the fuel expenses to me myself and I. I'll have to see if I can dig up another riding buddy, or I may just go myself, or maybe I can't make it, who knows.
I just got back from my first trip to Hatfield McCoy. My enduro club organized a week long trip down there, and I was able to go for three days. I rode the Rockhouse area, which was super fun. We stayed in Man. You guys are going to have a blast. Bring lots of dry socks. :)

We rode Bear Wallow, Rockhouse, and Buffalo Mt. Then we drove to North Carolina to hit Brushy Mountain, which is a must ride.
We rode as much single track as possible, except for 199. We wanted to come back in one piece.
We even rode 98? in Bear Wallow (extreme red and black). Throw-the-bike-up-hill-back-wheel-burning-radiator-spewing-bar-bending hill climb. It felt good to make it to the top of that one.

You can't take off one single day from work? My small crew has an extra bed or two at the lodge if you change your mind. We're driving up Friday morning & leaving Sunday.
