Yeah! Likely story. Sounds like a whole lotta backpeddling to me!!
I switched pipes every time I switched environs. Only with a cumulative effect of 'things'...RB air striker, DF3, and probably other stuff I don't recall right now, did I end up sticking with the -rev profile on my 200. It has every bit of bottom end I had with the -35..and the kick of the -30 is just fun.
Re: '..helps out over stock' (rev on a 200).
Don't know about that...my concern was the bottom end of my -30 piped 200 SUCKED.
Now it don't.
You want that W-H-A-C-K sent any particular way? UPS, USPS, FedEx?
Does the popcorn icon mean you're anxiously awaiting...or just have lots better things to do?
13-50 would be way too tall for me. Yeah, at 12-47 first gear isn't a big player..but I use it around/over logs, getting out of places I shouldn't-a been. And I'm still good for almost 80mph...doing that in places I shouldn't, too.
But, I'm 93db when I do it! Oh..that's another thread......

Close enough for gov'mint work.motorhed220 wrote:wow...ok....
Rev= More top end power over stock...
Torque= More TORQUE over stock...
Rev does not take away STOCK torque
Torque does not take away from STOCK top end right...
right?
Don't get hung up on the words. A guess pretty much on my part, but I'd say torque values have more to do with engine configuration than does exhaust. I'm sure torque values change one pipe to the other, but that's not the focus of the things. It's 'top' vs: 'bottom' of the rpm band that's closer to the issue. Those two profiles 'allow' the engine to work better IN those ranges.
Calling a hi-end pipe 'rev' is sexy and cool.
Calling a lo-end pipe 'lo' isn't. 'Let's call it 'TORQUE! (Tim Allen grunt inserted here) THAT sounds good!!'

hahahahahahaha...Tim Allen is the man!!! Wooo....
So in conclusion, for my 220, take the Rev pipe, it will make the open/field/extended smooth and wide spots on the trail where i can book it THAT much better due to the better top end...
Thats what ive got from this who convo...and Noise=bad!!!
Thanx fer all the informative help as usual...

Unless you have sucky clutch technique like me, and often find yourself one gear too high. I'm stickin' with the toke pipe.So in conclusion, for my 220, take the Rev pipe,
My RB-ed 220 with 13/50 sprockets will get me to 70 mph. It appears the only thing it costs me is having to upshift a bit earlier on the semi-rare occasion that I've run out of revs on the trail.it will make the open/field/extended smooth and wide spots on the trail where i can book it THAT much better due to the better top end...

No. I couldn't find "another chapter" in the "That's in the farm implement forum...." In fact, I was unable to locate that particular forum. Maybe if I had a "rev" pipe?canyncarvr wrote:Is everybody happy?
