I just got my rear shock serviced 6 months ago and now its leaking oil and topping out. How long should the seals last? I had them put new seal, oil, and nitrogen in the shock and it worked great for a while until it started leaking again. How do I stop this leaking?
I have a 2005 Kawasaki KDX 200

Re: Rear Shock Oil Leak!!!!!!
Are there any knicks on the shaft??
Generally, if it has the proper PSI, it should hold the pressure on the seal. What PSI did they put in the shock?
Any chance you let any PSI out??

Rear Shock Oil Leak!!!!!!
I had a bladder get dry and hard. This caused it to loose pressure and that's what keeps the seal tight.

Re: Rear Shock Oil Leak!!!!!!
It should not be leaking and bottoming out after just 6 months, take it back to the shop that did the work and have them fix it. Then next time do it yourself, not difficult and can be done with simple tools.
