RMZ KDX Hybrid

Post by Dean »

Hi All
At last some Photos of my project. Link is below - hope it works!
Alloy frame 2007 Suzuki RMZ 250 with a 2006 KDX 200 motor implant.
Will post more details later, just a novice at this computer stuff, so hope this works.
Cheers

Dean that looks like a clean install, very sharp looking..
Would really like to hear more about it and some close up pic's of the front down tube and the exhaust pipe to see how that all got cleared..

What brand name do you call it now ??

You have raised the bar for excellence on the hybrids. Great looking bike. Please give us some details and any major problems you ran into.

Thanks for the nice comments, wish I could say it was my work.
Completed by a friend at my work, but I did supply the beer.
More details to follow in the weekend.

Dean you and your buddy have done some great work!
One question is about the water hose coming out of the rad and really tight between the frame and pipe, is that rubbing ?

Hi
It looks really close but its not touching, probably 5 -10 mm away.

One thing I have noticed though, it runs very cool. It appears the RMZ radiators are larger than the KDX so provides more cooling.

I may have to block a few fins to increase temp but still doing home work.

Cheers

Started a 07 KXF250 Hybrid about 2 years ago, but other issues have gotten in the way. But, if you could answer one question. Which or what airbox was used, and how was it done. THANKS!!!
