Congratulations KDX220rser
Congratulations on that second place yesterday!
Nice meeting you and Bouillion. Hope to see y'all at the future LACC races.
That hybrid y'all built looks even better in person than in the pictures.

Cody, did real well and was pleased with his 2nd place showing in his class. The course was pretty tough. Especially that last mile and a half, slick as glass like they warned us about. For my first race, I judged my success by the number of falls, only one! Ha. It was that turtle speed.
Like I said, the hybrid preformed very well for me.
Good luck with your fork swap.
Thanks David, same here, nice meeting you. I didn't really get to meet your son, but I'm sure we'll cross paths again soon.David_L6 wrote:Congratulations on that second place yesterday!

Here's a shot of the start..... #323 and #333 about to go over the bars because they dumped the clutch and killed the motor on the start (sorry Cody, couldn't help it. ). BTW, we are going to Leesville tomorrow. If y'all have time, come on up and ride.

Haha oh man I was so bummed about that start. I got the wholeshoy last race and I think my head was still a bit big from it... Haha.. Think I'm going get some mx training this weekend at our local track. Trampas's place looks pretty rough, so I need to practice before the race in a few weeks. U guys racing it?David_L6 wrote:Here's a shot of the start..... #323 and #333 about to go over the bars because they dumped the clutch and killed the motor on the start (sorry Cody, couldn't help it. ). David, are you talking about the parking area? How is the camping area, will it be a mess if it rains? No 4 wheel drive just wondering which vehicle to pull camper with? I don't mine getting pulled out in the Tacoma but a little nervous getting the Navigator stuck?David_L6 wrote:Yes, we'll be at Trampas's. Just hope that it doesn't rain a lot. Several people got stuck last year, including Daniel.
Right now our plan is to go up on the Friday.

I was talking about racers getting stuck out on the trails on their motorcycles. Daniel stuck his CR250. He wasn't the only stuck bike either. There was a video on Youtube of a kid getting winched out he was stuck so badly.Bouillion wrote:David, are you talking about the parking area? How is the camping area, will it be a mess if it rains? The pit area is fine. Shouldn't be any trouble getting in and out there. Just to play it safe, if it rains a lot, drive the Tacoma. If it's dry, drive anything you want.

Thanks for the info. Cody and I will drvie up early Friday morning to make sure we get a camper slot with full hook-ups. Wife and daugther will drive up later in the afternoon once school is out. Hopefully it is going to be a nice weekend. I'll need to try my luck on the track Saturday to decide if I'll ride Sunday? I've never ridden an MX track before. Not worried about falling only someone landing on my back!David_L6 wrote:I was talking about racers getting stuck out on the trails on their motorcycles. Daniel stuck his CR250.
