I'm new to 2-strokes - the 220 is my first. It supposedly has Boyesen reeds but I don't know which. Looks like the stock reed cage so I'm assuming it's not the Rad, V2 or V3 setup.
Bike generally runs really well, so I'm inclined to leave well enough alone. But... how would I know when the reeds aren't up to par. Is it by visual inspection? Performance drop? Lean or rich symptoms? More smoke? Do you replace them by hours or miles?
Thanks
When to replace reeds?

I would just put V-force3 in it.. I was the same as you and didn't really know when i needed them, but one day i got a wild hair and just ordered some.. Then i realized i needed them the whole time! They really help out and bump performance.
