Castrol grand prix motorcycle 2 stroke
Has anybody here used it?
I don't see it on the Castrol USA site, and it is different from super 2 stroke, (which Castrol did not recommend using in my bikes).
Just wondered if anybody has any experience with it, or knows anything about it?

No reason it shouldn't be any good. However, For whatever reason I've always stayed away from oils that are injection friendly. I premix, and there's a at least dozen good fully synthetic PV friendly oils that fit the bill.

Looks like your answer is no.
Easier to say what you don't want in an oil. You don't want weedeater oil, outboard motor oil, pure castor/racing castor. Synthetics are preferred with the existence of the elaborate power valve system, and lack of tons of wide open throttle usage typical of the KDX. They will all work to stop a piston/bearing siezure. It's what you find in your motor after 4000miles that's important.

I know it's supposed to be top notch, but I didn't have a great experience with Amsoil products, and Indawoods beat me up pretty good for using Castor 927
Just looking for an inexpensive alternative. I can buy almost 4 liters of the Castrol for the cost of the 927, and 3 for the cost of the Amsoil stuff. I like Motul 800, but it's expensive and difficult for me to get.

There isn't much that's inexpensive and good.

But there are some good deals out there, like the (only one I can think of off the top of my fat head) Esso XD 0W40 that was one of the best synthetics available, and half the price of the Mobil/Syntech, etc.
I can't think of any reason a liter of oil should be $15, or even $10 for that matter, and it is Castrol.
