swingarm swapping on H series to E series KDX 200.
Sorry to bump this old thread, but my bushings are toast in my 93s swingarm, and I bought a swingarm that was supposed to be from a 94, but it looks like it may be from an h model. I'd rather run it then have to source another E swingarm, but can't find any information whether or not it'll bolt up.

It may work, I know the linkages are slightly different between the E and H models. Best bet is to pull your old one off the bike and start taking measurements.

I just did swing arm bearings last night on my '90. If you had posted this yesterday I could have taken some measurements

Bufftester- It looks like I may have to go that route, and just measure/test fit to see if it'll work. I was just hoping that someone else had run across this issue before tearing the bike apart. The current swingarm bushings have so much play that once it's out, and the h series swingarm wont fit, the bike will be out of commission for a few weeks.

They still sell the bushings and bearings for the E-models, that would have been the easier route, but where is the fun in that

To update... I considered buying bushings/bearings, but the PO painted the original swingarm, and I found E-Series swingarm for $25 shipped with OEM graphics/decent bushings. The H-Series swingarm would probably have worked if I drilled out the links from 10mm to 12mm, but I have no idea how it would would have affected the geometry.
