Kdx 220 Stall
Riding on my track in my back yard and experienced stalling.
Any thoughts why this may be happening?
Yes, fuel is in tank with petcock in 'ON' postion.

See that thing on the right side of your handlebar?
Twist it!
Twist it!

No worries Juliened -
I still have issues with my kdx220.
When I rode it yesterday, I wanted to twist that throttle but simply poofs out and dies - even in first gear on level ground. I do not know how to diagnose this problem.
Spark plug cap is tight.
Gas tank vent hose is not pinched.
Emptied and cleaned gas tank 2 weeks ago.
I admit I travel in between 1st and 2nd gear atm because track is not big enough to go faster. The bike stalls and dies - then have lots of trouble kick starting it again.
The attached photo shows my throttle cable (apologies for picture quality).
The copper bent tube on top of the cap easily turns around and I do not know if this should be happening.
Also, I am not sure if the domed shaped steel sheath for cable should be more tightly snugged up to that copper tube.
The photo shows the cable slightly pulled away from the tube.
Thoughts?

Yeah, there's too much play in your throttle cable. Take out some slack using the adjuster by the throttle housing on the bars. But.... I don't think that is ALL of your problem. If giving it a good twist of the throttle makes it "poof" and die, it's likely either dangerously lean or WAYY to rich. Difficulty re-starting would indicate way to rich, unless it is starving for fuel somehow. Float valve sticking closed? Clogged up jets? what mix are you running?
Pull the carb apart and give it a good visual, clean, and re-assemble. It's ok if you've already done this, do it again!
