I noticed that the SR versions appear to be street legal bikes with all the street equipment. All that street gear has a larger electrical demand than the U.S. version KDX's wimpy 40 watt output would handle. Well, that got my curiousity up.
What do the SR versions use for a stator/lighting coil? Could it be found and swapped in to a U.S. version easy enough?
Eh, just food for thought!

PM Indawoods, he can hook you up with a compatible 100 watt lighting coil made specifically for the US machines. Last I heard he still had one left from the current production run. $110 IIRC
