KIPS actuator ?
Is there any trick to putting the actuator back on. Besides grease and that the threads are backwards. Do you have to do any thing to make sure the gear in side the case is lined up. Thanks for any help

What year and model KDX do you have? If it's an "E" series 200 then you can find good instructions here: http://www.geocities.com/a57ngel/moto/kips.html

The 'gear inside the case' won't get 'out of line' unless you took it apart wrong (tweaked the shaft).
If you're referring to KIPS alignment, the actuating lever is 'at rest'..and is put back together with the KIPS 'at rest'....subport drums closed, main valve low.
