Aftermarket kick start lever?
Today i was out riding, came back and noticed i was sans a kick start lever. No big deal i thought, made a call, 110 bucks... WTF? Other than the FRP lever, is there anything out there that is cheap?
The frp lever looks great, is it a complete replacement or just the lever (not the part that actually attached to the mechanism on the bike..

Ron Ayers has the whole assembly, including the knuckle for the E series at $65.93 and the H at $72.89

Not to digress..but..to digress, isn't the punkin kicker forged? I gather you don't like it?
If the KDX kicker was forged, I probably wouldn't have ever replaced it..'cuz it wouldn't have twisted.

Mine twisted..literally. The stop was fine (it did get welded on..a couple of times.. to fix a too-far problem).
Besides being twisted to helpfully let your boot slip off at the bottom of a kick, the lever itself had no grip to it anyway. That didn't help.

yeah, my punkin is forged, but isn't the FRP machined billet? I like the size of the FRP as well.

You're right. The FRP is CNC'd
Well...it looks like it is, anyway.
What happens with all the STUFF left over from a machining process like that.
Yeah...I did ask that before. I KNOW what they do with it..I mean..what a lot OF it!

I've tried it and prefer the stocker

the shorter FRP and KX kicker seem to work better for taller folks IMO.
how vertically challenged are you Wibbins?
I have some very shaved down seat foam I would like to sell cheap.
get those feet a lil closer to the ground.
My size 12 1/2 foot works well with the shorty and I dont have to put my knee up to my chin to start my kick.
here is a stocker on ebay.
