I've missed a whole lot of things somewhere.

I missed the '250' part, for starters.

The carb cap for a '93 250 does NOT show a curved tube.

Re: 'for a 93 the part numbers are the same for Wibbs blow up..'

NO!!!

Wib's pic shows a 16004 with a curved tube on top.

RonAyers microfiche shows a 16004 as the straight carb top...but
16004 is NOT the part number!!:

16004 is the reference number you look up to GET the part number, which is 16004-1061.

That should clear up THAT question. I don't know what model Wibby's blow-up is for..but I doubt it's for a '93 KDX 250. If it is, that IS a problem, because it doesn't match RonAyers microfiche.

Radon: From this you get the gist of what happens with a hijacked thread? This thread was started by '2001kdx 200 good bike' when you asked a question. Your sig DOES mention KDX250, but not until KayD asked a question did I have the slightest clue what you were talking about. I assumed..and did so in error.

The point is not to rag on you..the point IS to provide some relevant answers to your questions, and that is not likely considering the path this thread has taken.

Unfortunately, there are NOT a lot of 250 riders on this board....

What IS the question now? I read your nylon insert was not put in correctly, you fixed that, now the noise is gone. Still sticking? Is your tank not OEM?

Kind of late at this point, but please start a separate thread with separate questions, especially when referring to a completely different bike.

OK I get carried away sometimes. I thought with the it would be a simple answer , had I known it would explode I would have started a new thread. I forgot how many people respond to these threads. I probably pissed a few people off with that one, sorry. I didn't check the caps before I wrote. I thought they all had the same setup. I noticed later as I was going through that the ref # is what I was looking at. I at times regret having a bike with such a limited run, it is like a bastard child of Kawasakis, part KX, part KDX, all a pain in the ass. I even had to buy a supplement for the 1993 KDX 200 manual I have yet to buy. (seeing what Santa brings) :?

I doubt 'pissed off' has anything to do with it. Don't know of anyone that heart-attack-serious on this board.

My point was to try to be of some worthwhile assistance to you is all.

Off to the new thread to razz you summore!!
