Sprockets

Post by Johnny »

What are the stock sprockets that come on the 2001 KDX220. Is the front 13T and the rear 48T?

I guess I could go out to the freezing cold garage and count them but I am not sure if the ones I have on the bike are stock or not since I bought the bike used. Plus with all of you guys around I'm sure someone knows the answer off the top of their head.

Thanks.

I think that is what I have but I will count them tomorrow. When I do change them I will keep it the same. My front sprocket needs replacing soon. Can you just take that thnig off, flip it around and put it back on???????? Doubt it, but thought I would ask.

You can but I wouldn't. You will probably find it snaps the tips off the teeth.

BTW It should have the amount of teeth stamped on the sprocket somewhere.
