cheap power improvements coming my way
First off, i noticed my bike being slower ever sice the fall chillyness set in. my jetting is 48/160 and i suspect thats the problem. anyway, i ordered some main and pilot jets, a 12t front sprocket, and boyesen power reeds. I think, i will see some significant power improvements after i install the reeds, and get the jetting figured out. then i will slap on the 12t to help out because i ride tight, muddy trails. All this for under 70$. This obviously wont be anywhere near a pipe, or an rb modded carb, but it will feel much better. any ideas of what jetting combo i will need? 155/45 would be an improvement right?[/code]

all right, the kdx ran really bad today, smoking like crazy and oil leaking all over my wheel, and an overall performance dissapointment. tommorow I going to put 155/45 jets to replace my 160/48, and probably put the power reeds in. The problem is, ive never been in farther than the airbox, tommorow will be my first time. ive got a couple extra plugs, does anyone have any advice for me?

Dang. Here in Phoenix, I'm considering going from 150/38 to 152/40 and moving one clip down on the CEK needle.
Typical temps (unless a cold front moves in) in November are lows of 47 and highs of 77.
It'll drop down to 41 and 68 in December and January.
1,200 foot elevation but where I ride can be several hundred feet higher.
