A snippet:
Kawasaki isn't really pointing this bike towards the racers. Instead the 220 is a sure-footed trail bike for people who just want to ride and have fun and possibly never race, with a slightly torquier, softer powerband. The difference is subtle. Believe me, if you don't ride the KDX200 and KDX220 side-by-side, we doubt if you can actually discern a difference between them. If we get one to do a long-term test on, you can be sure we're going to change the pipe, silencer, and carb, and find out just what the KDX220 is capable of. The stock exhaust setup is admirably quiet, but it is also quite restrictive. We know there's horsepower in there to spare.
