Carb Jets & Needles where to purchase & what size?
Were is the best place to purchase jets and needles? Also what sizes should I purchase as I will be changing to a FMF woods pipe after I pick up up my bike.
I will be riding in the NY/NJ/CT area sealevel to about 2000 feet. I will be braking the bike in at 32:1 but will probably change to 40:1 after brake in.

Sudco has good prices on jets and needles. Do you have a 200 or 220? Stock carb or RB'd?

What sizes? without any idea of what bike you have , I dunno. I would bet smaller ones than what is in there though. Lots of info n this same topic on this site.

The only reasonable method of determining what jetting you need in your bike where you ride and in what kind of terrain you ride...is to determine that yourself with test-n-tuning.
That said, OEM jetting for the 200 consists of a 48/160 pilot/main. Likely your testing will lead you to a lower pilot...likely at least one, maybe two sizes (42/45). Same for the main..likely 155/158.
Get a range of jets, test/install/rejet to suit.

I was not looking for exact jetting specs, just a basic idea of which jets to buy.
I have heard KDX's are jetted rich so in general is there usually an average sizes one should buy ie: 1-3 sizes smaller on average so you would have a good assortment to work with.
Hope I am clearer.

You were perfectly clear to me...I thought.
..which is why I listed a range. A small range, certainly, but that was based on the 'sea level' part.
Ron's list includes anything you would need for anything knobby.
...you didn't mention paddles and sand.
...like....CT has sand? I don't think I could find it on a map if the name wasn't printed on it.
Have fun!!
