No Toil air filter oil
tried this stuff out on my kid's race bike. Seems to work pretty well on the Twin-air filter he has. I got the kit from RM that has the cleaner, oil, and sealing grease. The cleaner seems to do a good job breaking down the old stuff, and so far the oil seems to stay sticky and not let stuff through. I like being able to wash it out in the kitchen sink without my wife going non-linear.

I read somewhere not to leave your bike sitting too long in between oiling and riding due to the fact that the oil degrades over time ?????
I'm not saying it's gospel but I recall reading it somewhere. I am also not saying it's a bad product, so don't flame me.

I heard that too Kay Dee, uh,,, of course maybe it was from you though. Anyway, that's why I started using it on his bike, he races so it gets serviced a lot. Mine tends to sit for long periods while I take care of my high maintenence kids .

What oil does NOT degrade over time?
I have never had any issue/problem with NoToil coming off the filter, not doing its job.
Can't say the same of the K&N line of filter service products.
I'm saying that it seems NoToil is a target of whining...cuz they are different? While a 'tried and true' outfit has some problems of its own!

I have used NO TOIL for years and love it. On filters not made for it I have noticed that the seams start to un-glue but even that takes a while. The stuff is alcohol based and I noticed you can use alcohol to clean the filters. Then you don't have any dry time, you can just re oil and go.
