What are the 2 wires for? I have circled them. Please copy and paste the link into your browser.

Re: Headlight Wires
Could you tell me what those wires are for? Are they for just the switch?

Re: Headlight Wires
Okay I have a trial tech switch wired in. And some how it still works without those 2 wires being connected. I just want to make sure I don’t ruin anything. My only concern is I don’t want ruin anything.

Re: Headlight Wires
Here's the wiring diagram. 2003 and 2005 H series should be wired the same. Yellow is AC positive from the magneto. It goes to the headlight switch and becomes Red positive for the headlight and taillight. Black is ground. I don't know how you got positive power without using the yellow wire.

Re: Headlight Wires
Yeah I have the power wires hooked up and the ground wire attached as well. My only concern is what do I do with the 2 wires that I have circled in the picture? What are they used for thanks.

Re: Headlight Wires
Here is how I have it connected and it still seems to work. As you can see I can get the light to work with the trail tech switch by plugging it into the wires on the bike. You can also see I am not using the 2 wires located further down on the headlight, what are those for? Do I need to use them?
What are these used for because I don't need them?

Re: Headlight Wires
If I’m getting power to the headlight one way or another and I have the switch hooked up in order to turn the light on and off. Could I damage the stator or anything on the bike if it’s working but hooked up in a different way? That’s my only concern if it’s hooked up and working but hooked up differently can I damage anything over time? Please let me know!! I also figured out how to upload pictures!
