Re: Idle and air/fuel not adjusting
That was my screw up. I was reading the optional parts list in the owners manual.

Re: Idle and air/fuel not adjusting
Quick update.
-Adjusted float to 18mm, it was WAY out of spec on the high side, probably about 22-24mm.
-Went down 1 size on the pilot and main jets
-Couldn't replace jet block gasket, because it had to be ordered
-Tried with air box lid and without, seems to run better with the lid
Made a little progress, it will idle a little longer before dying now but idle and air screws still do nothing.
Hopefully the jet block gasket comes in soon and that fixes the problem.
All other mechanics seem great, replacing fork seals today (they came in friday), new air filter, new protaper high bars (I'm 6'1"), finish coolant flush and fill with Engine Ice, change trans fluid, new chain, check front, rear, and triple tree bearings.
Also going to pull the jet block and see how the gasket looks

Re: Idle and air/fuel not adjusting
Also I think I might need a new float. The floor tab looks like someone may have damaged it, because the float adjustment tab is bent at a curve instead of being straight. Also last night I forgot to turn the fuel off and this morning i found a puddle of gas on the floor of my garage. If I knew how to upload pictures on here, I would since I have plenty.

Oh yeah, I also noticed the link for the online manual and went ahead and purchased the lifetime for it also.

Also the parts guy at the small kawi dealer is an old KDX fan, he gave me 152 main and 48 pilot, that improved it some but still waiting on the jet block gasket to come in.

Re: Idle and air/fuel not adjusting
yeah that's what I thought too, but wanted to make sure it wasn't some kind of weird float. I'll order a new one and try to straighten this one out.

I would try to repair that one before ordering another one.

Re: Idle and air/fuel not adjusting
Will do. If I do need another though, it's only $16.65 on jetsrus, and my dealer beats any online price.
