Re: Howdy
Once you pull back the spring and wiggle the cable out of the slide, you take a socket (6 or 8 mm I believe), and loosen the hex that has the groove in it for the cable to run down... kind of hard to explain, but once you get the cable out of the way, you can only see 1 hex inside of the slide. Just hold the slide in your hands when doing this, I wouldn't try clamping it or anything in fear of damaging it.

6mm. Don't tighten too much when you reinstall, you'll crush it.Tyl3r wrote:Once you pull back the spring and wiggle the cable out of the slide, you take a socket (6 or 8 mm I believe), and loosen the hex that has the groove in it for the cable to run down...

Re: Howdy
Ok,
After fiddling with it, I find that the bike runs quite well with the needle clip in the first position.(leanest setting).
Is there any danger of leaving it there(possible damage) and does that indicate that my jetting is still too rich and I should go back to the 2 or 3 position and go leaner with a 38. I'm at 40 now.
Thanks

Hi mskinner
Jetting can get a little involved, not sure if you can find your answer on the procedure here but plenty of info on the net, I'll bet you can even find a video on YouTube.
