I have a visible leak on the outside of the bike. Water pump gasket.
But my fluid in the tranny looks very dark and almost a green color to it. I emptied it in a clear container and just the edges almost look green.
Any ideas?

To confirm if you do have a coolant leak, is the coolant level going down, or staying the same?
Have you tried doing a cooling system pressure test? If it won't hold pressure, you may have a leaking mechanical seal.

If your oil is suspect it wouldn't hurt to change that mechanical seal when you do the gasket, cost is low and peace of mind is high.
