93 - 94 KDX200 front brake line
I am looking for an aftermarket front brake line hose, compatible with the USD fork and caliper of the 1993-1994 KDX200 front brake set-up. I can search e-bay and find hundreds that "say" they are compatible, I'm not sure they are. Can someone confirm one that they have tried (and like) that works? post a link? Thanks.

If you give one of the manufacturing companies the length, fitting size etc that you need, they will be able to make one for you if you aren't confident that the off the shelf ones will fit. Some hydraulic shops have the fittings to make braided brake lines, so if you have no luck you may be able to get one made locally.

I have used the braided Galfer lines on two different bikes and love them on both. Top quality for sure.

With the lower hose the way it is, I'd bee worried about them fitting as well. I ha to replace my rear line and nobody makes one that actually fits, I had to have one made. I think I went to an AC guy to have it done.

I think Midwest Hose in Pittsburgh could make what you want. You will just need to take them the old one to duplicate or take the bike up there so they can measure and put the correct fitting on it, if you don't have the old one.

I contacted Midwest hose in pittsburgh. Thanks for the tip, but they cannot do it. They say, "thank you for reaching out but this is not what we do. We mainly are a manufacture of industrial hose and hydraulic hose for the oil and gas industry"

yes, that will work. I am currently using one similar. but (looking at the photo) it does not have the same lower extension at the end to allow fitment of the plastic brake rotor protector on the '93-'94 KDX with USD forks. I have not been able to find an aftermarket brake hose with the same lower end adapted to allow for the disk cover.

I guess they didn't want to fool with it, but they show brake hoses in their catalog (rubber and steel braided) and maybe it's because I use them weekly in a professional capacity, but the branch in north Dallas would do it if I needed them to. Notice the top left corner of the attached pic. This is from pg. 58 of their catalog.Keystone wrote:I contacted Midwest hose in pittsburgh. Thanks for the tip, but they cannot do it.
