Some scratch in the compression area and the new piston is too loooose also.(what they said)

The shop who replate jugs ask for the new piston...you are right.

Not $250! It WAS a bit over a year ago...but USChrome I recall charged $150.

Why the pits?

USChrome said it was due to porosity of the base metal. THEY say it's a good thing...places for oil to hide. I am far from convinced.

Curious...did you consider Langcourt? Why choose the bernard place?

Also he do not want to lose his jug at the custum! Maybe the canadian customs clowns will keep it!
