Unknown piece NEED help. *** Pictures inside***
Its a 1990 kdx200. I snapped one of the KIPS conponent on the ride side of the motor. Under the boot. It connected to the valve on the side? Please help

that's the Governor shaft # 49114-1067 it might be discontinued part

Sorry dont know why links are not working. But i snapped the thread of the governer shaft on top where its bolted to the arm lever thats connected to the kips on the right side of the motor. How do i get the governer shaft out to replace it?

I edited your posts to fix your image links. If you click edit on it, you should see how it looks. The code between the IMG tags is taken from the right side of the photobucket page, where it says "direct". Copy that, paste it into your post, highlight it, and click the Img button above your post window.
And yes, kips governor shaft. To remove the shaft you have to pull the outer and inner clutch covers off.

How would i go about doing that, taking out the inner and outer clutch cases. Is it easy?

Pretty easy, yes. I would recommend a service manual.
You will see the bolts for the inner clutch cover around the perimeter of the RH side of the engine. Remove all of those, and then wiggle and jiggle until you can clear the rear brake lever and pull it straight off. You will see the governor assembly inside there.

Yes that part number is 49114-1067. It is discontinued does anyone have a lead on one ? Someone did the same to my motor
