Lectrons are the only carb I have seen with a clear bowl.
Plastic bowls arent without their problems though.
Are you wanting one for the "cool" factor or for setting the float height?

Not a terrible price to pay to check fuel level/float height is spot on. I'd put the metal one back on after checking.

The clear bowl isn't going to really help you with setting the float. The fuel level should be 0-2mm above the carb body-bowl mating surface.
This is how I mimicked the factory approach to setting the float: setting float

Clear fuel line and a couple nipples on 90's from the top and bottom of the float bowl would make an easy to see anytime gauge.
