i am looking to get an s-12 for the back, and have read about their sizing being different. is it true that the mich 130/80-18 is similar to my maxxis 110/100-18.
basically what size s-12 should i get for the kdx 200 riding in the TN/GA/AL/NC region?

My brother has a 120 on his and it is much closer to a 110 than this thing.

Not sitting side by side it's not. The 130 is huge in comparison. The bike sits much taller now... by an inch or two....fulltiltboogie wrote:Are you talking about a 130/80 Michelin? That IS a 110.

Here's what I KNOW for comparing the Mich tire to an IRC: (FWIW)
A M-12 in size 130/70-19 is just 1/4" narrower than a IRC M5B in size 120/80-18.
The 19" tire is mounted on my KX250 and the 18" is on my KDX220. Both tires are at 13psi and have the about the same mileage and wear on them.
Both rims are 2.15" wide.
It would be cool to have a bar graph or a gant chart sort of scale that referenced each tire size on a scale from narrowest to widest for anyone to compare where their tire is at.
****EDIT****
BTW, Bitchin' looking bike there!!! Let's go riding!!!

All I'm saying is... be sure. Go down to your local dealer and check a 100 or 110 Dunlop against a 130 Michelin.
