Turbincore spark arrestor
Will a turbincore fit a 1990 kdx? I have a fmf fatty pipe, predecessor to the gnarly series. Can this be made to fit? I don't see anything for this old bike..

If you have the factory silencer, keep it!

Turbincore spark arrestor
There is (or maybe was) a Turbine Core SA for E-Series, as I have one on my bike.

Re: Turbincore spark arrestor
I see the thumper store sells a straight pipe one for a 1900, the exhaust pipe going in isn't bent like the h series, what I don't know is the pipe size, they ask if 1 and 1/4 or 1 and 1/8th. But looks like I can get it done if still made..

The OEM arrester flows good, is rebuildable, and is Forestry Service approved.

Re: Turbincore spark arrestor
Yup - the fmf pipe is built to fit the way a stock pipe does.

Re: Turbincore spark arrestor
Though the FMF site does not currently show it, there was a 1989 - 1994 KDX200 Turbine Core. I have an FMF spark arrestor on mine, though it is really old and I don't think it was called Turbine Core back then.
I looked around on eBay, but dd not see one. This is a ppicture from another member here, wibby:

Got one of those on my 93. I don't think it's called turbine core....I'm pretty sure it's the Power Core.Jason wrote:Though the FMF site does not currently show it, there was a 1989 - 1994 KDX200 Turbine Core.
