Intake manifold question
Im wondering if there is a source for an intake manifold for the 87 kdx 200? Seems like i can find all years but the 86-87. Ive heard some gyys repair them with plasti dip. Which i am going to try. But if you could point me towards a new one that would be greatly appreciated. Tks.

Re: Intake manifold question
If your going to try and patch / repair it for now , Use Permatex RT. Stuff black silicone gasket /adhesive . Plastic Dip is great for what it
was designed for but does not hold up to gasoline.
Clean it thoroughly and apply RT. Stuff, use a wet finger to smooth it out.

Re: Intake manifold question
Thanks for the reply. I will try the permatex, then try to make it look better with some plasti dip.

You won't need the plasti dip at all , you'll be able to smooth it out and ad extra layers where you need the most reinforcement.
