I rescued a 95 KDX200 last spring, went through it from end to end getting it back in shape.
Without a laundry list of parts replaced think of a neglected bike brought back to very good condition.
On to the question. On a recent trail ride I saw a KXF with painted hubs. So I decided I liked the look and took both wheels apart and painted the hubs. Everything turned out good except when I got it all back together the front wheel seems to be sitting just a little (maybe 3/16") off center in the forks to the left (brake side).
I made sure the offset was the same as when I unlaced the wheel prior to painting the hubs.
Nothing rubs and the bike tracks straight. The one thing I didn't take note of is if that's how it sat before the project started.
Front hub has new bearings and seals, I made sure the bearings are seated properly and see no obvious problems there.
What are ya'lls thoughts?

Re: Front wheel question
That is normal, the wheel is offset to allow space for the tripmeter mechanism .
