There's a dent on the wheel. Although it doesn't seem to effect performance, it bugs me like a ugly pimple.
At what point do you replace a wheel due to bent rim?
What is the common replacement? Ebay or rebuild a new rim?
Which brand is the strongest so I will never have to worry about bent rim again?

Wheel Bent Replace Specification
How Is the rim bent? Is it dented? Or does it have a wobble (side to side) to it?terminatr wrote:There's a dent on the wheel. Although it doesn't seem to effect performance, it bugs me like a ugly pimple.
When it gets to the point of shaking or you have trouble with flats.terminatr wrote:At what point do you replace a wheel due to bent rim?
Ebay will probably get you just what you already have. If you are concerned with the looks of the rim then you need to buy a rim and relace it to your hub after soda blasting the hub.terminatr wrote:What is the common replacement? Ebay or rebuild a new rim?
You will never get a good answer to this question. I would probably lean toward Excel but there are plenty of good (and much cheaper) rims out there. The rims SS109 put on his 90 looked to be pretty good. Warp9? Any rim will bend.terminatr wrote:Which brand is the strongest so I will never have to worry about bent rim again?
