Fork cartridge tool
Hey. I try to buy the fork cartridge tool from Fredette. But it seems it's out of stock for weeks. And he said, it'll be "a while". Sounded like the tool might never be back in stock. Anyway, anyone got a photo of what the tool look like? I'd like to make my own, so I can rebuild the fork.

FRP's tool is hollow with a 27mm nut on one end and 30mm on the other (1986 - 1992 KDX200). I have one, and it works great.

That tool says it's for damper rod fork. But I think my KDX has the cartridge type fork.

Re: Fork cartridge tool
I welded a nut on the end of a piece of conduit and a long bolt on the other end like a t handle. I can't remember what size the nut was, I found one that looked close and ground the sides down till it fit. Crude but works well.
