How long to make hybrid?

I want to make a hybrid and was wondering how long it took you ? I would probably work on it as much as possible. And is it worth the time and money?

I didn't keep close track, but I'm guessing the 1st one was 20-30 hours and the 2nd was closer to 15.

There can be a lot of variables that will impact your timeline. Will you do it all yourself or have a machine shop and/or welder help out? Which engine & bike will you use? Which pipe? How will you handle the airboot/airbox? Will you just paint the welded areas on the frame, strip the entire frame and repaint or powder coat?

Yes, it was worth the time/money.

I think I'm at around 35+ hours and I still need to get the framed painted or powder coated. Sucks that when I get it all together I still won't be able to ride it.... stupid kips pin.... :wah:

Mine was close to 40 hrs. I did all work myself. Totally worth it. Completely different bike after conversion.
