No tips from me, but damn! Hate to hear that. I hope you will be ok. You must be young, beings you are up and learning to walk again? The best of luck to you. Ouch!

I happen to know 1998 YZ250's can hit pretty hard

Tyler, good to hear you're doing well with the walking, to see you back on the bike would be a miracle for sure.

BTW, this is Ron Sadler, I used to ride with you before the incident :supz:

Don't rule out getting on a quad in order to get out in the woods faster than you might on a bike.
It's important to enjoy life and great to hear you are looking forward to the time you will ride again instead of bemoaning the fact that you can't ride right now.
God bless and speed your recovery!!

I'd rather be a smartass like carvr, than a dumbass like.... well, you fill in the blank!

Keep working on walking. My sister was involved in a pretty gnarly street bike wreak a few years ago. They said she wouldn't walk again and if she did somehow walk again she wouldn't ever carry more than 10lbs or ride a bike. She didn't listen very well evidently since she worked her way thru recovery, started walking again and got right back on a dirt bike. Keep faith that you'll walk and ride again and if it can happen it will. Like Ski says get out there on a quad (or rhino, etc) and get some fresh air and enjoyment in your life. Everything else will come together for you as it will.

Where are you going to take that out? The trails from your house or MTA?
