Or match your smoke money with a savings jar for dirt bike stuff. See how much more fun you can have!
I gotta tell ya, the first 3 days are tough, then the first 3 weeks, then the first 3 months, but after that, your mind doesn't really remember what it's missing. (Well, every once in a while. That monkey will always be there, ready to hop back on your back.)

Now I gotta diet. God I'm FAT!!! Almost 190 now. I don't want to rework my suspension and my chest protector looks like it's a kids on me.

My man breasts hurt when I ride agressively, my wife beats me on my back and says she can't breath, when I sit down I can't tell if my belt buckle is there any more, It's harder to wipe my bum, I sweat more, the dog doesn't recognize me, the kids won't let me be "skins" when shooting hoops, they even asked me when I was due!!
oh the horror......the horror.....

It's gonna be different for different people, but I quit cold turkey after 30 yrs and a 2.5 packaday habit. It's been 3 yrs (NO CHEATING) and I work with smokers.
I still crave cigs and love the smell in the air around smokers everyday. If I get
any bad health news they will find me in a field with my bike and a carton of cigerettes. My motivation has been being a slave to the cost and price increases.
But since I quit I've gained 30lbs and I think the weight is harder on me than the smoking ever was. So be careful if your desposed to gainig weight.
I also think the people that say you can smell better and taste food better spend way too much time indoors. good luck....
Mountain Dew is my demon...

LOL!!!
Add 2 18 year old cuties and I'm with ya!

I've also gained weight. When I was smoking it was much easier not to eat. I wasn't as hungry I guess.

I feel good except for trying to tie my shoes.

Instead of butt on bed bending down to tie both shoes, this fatass has learned to stand, keeping one foot on floor and one foot on bed to tie shoes. I am not really that bad, but after a big meal...

You laugh, but it works. and yes, you will find yourself trying it.

Awesome!!

I went back then quit on January 11th. It's about 3 months for me. I'm thinking of taking up a pipe. No inhale but still enjoy the aroma and habit of stopping to take a break. That's my biggest problem; I used to stop and take smoke breaks. Now I just keep working. It's burning me out!!
