Sorry for no more responses. In the USA, we did not get the KDX125.

I have to admit to being mildly intrigued by the SR model bikes. Apparently Kawi saw fit to provide the later year KDX125SRs with USD forks and full lighting, though the SR200s retained the conventional fork. And the heavier duty SR stators never made it into the US bikes. It's like there were 15 different guys making decisions at Kawi motors and none of them talked to each other.

I bought a KDX 125 sr 2001, as the valve is mechanically always fires but she is not responding at higher RPM seems to drown!
Have changed my CDI carburetor (none of which I tried was the home are all yamaha dtr 125) told me it could be the crankshaft seal!
Agree?
Thank you

if you have the money you can put a kx 125 91 cylinder and head with carb witch will make it fly but you will need to put twin rads on so will need to take of the oil pump and oil tank making shore you cover the hole the pump comes out of, so will have to premix fuel, kx chain and sprocket and put a kx starter so you can wire up a kx 90 cdi then no one will catch you. im doing it to mine atm but not cheap wat jets are you using on your carb if the main jet to big that why it drowning

hope that helps you mate
