Carb spec and float height

Post by stevei0220 »

Please can someone tell me the model of carb fitted to the 1990 200SR model and provide me with the spec for it. I am after the float height in particular but if some one has the full spec sheet that would great.

Thank you.

Depends on which SR version you have. From what I remember the Japanese version ran a PE28 carb and the European version ran a 35PWK. Easiest way to tell is look at the choke...the PE28 used a lever and the PWK35 used a knob. Also the PE28 has a round slide instead of the flat on the PWK. If it's the 35 then specs are probably here on the site somewhere. For the PE28 float height is 19mm +/- 0.5mm (Its also the same carb that comes on the RM85s and a lot of other minibikes.)
