viewed threads problem?

Am I alone in having trouble with looking at a thread, hitting the link back to the category it was in, and still seeing it as unviewed? this seems to be happening only the past few days.

Since no one said anything, I thought it was just me.
In an attempt to speed up the posting process... I eliminated the redirect after you make a post. I definately is much faster but I am afraid it has affected the cookie's effectiveness to follow your session.
I will work on getting it back to the old way....
