Hmmmm...... is on mine. Have you tried to refresh... or uh... what's the Mac term... reload? Make sure your browser checks for a newer version of the site everytime you visit it.

I have my <put up little green markers for Wibby to let him know something is new> button off.
;)

p.s.
Those little green markers aren't workin' for me, neither. Guess Wibby has HIS same button 'fer me off??

Aha. Some more light on the issue.

When I FIRST come to (example) the front page, das lite iz blenkin.

If I refresh that page, das no blenkin litez.

..Like it thinks I READ everything just 'cuz I refreshed the page.

Would seem it would not stop blinking until I actually went TO that thread. I thought it used to do that...pretty sure it did.....

Oh...I don't even run a Mac!

Dirt riders tend to not use their blinkers. I am assuming this is the problem. You may have to add some blinkers or add a lighting kit but you need to upgrade your lighting coil. Either way this will cost money....

The ONLY thing I can think of guys is: Check your browsers settings for "check for new version of page" on the advanced tab. Mine blinks no matter how many times I refresh a page. Next step would be to let me remote onto your puter and fix it! You can do that with XP you know... (Wibby, that's PC talk) Let me know if that helps....

You can remotely do my computer!!!???

THAT doesn't sound at all like something I want to be in the same room for! I don't want to see any dangling propositions (sic).

BTW..Wibby uses his blinkers all the time.

The option (one of them) is to check with each VISIT to a page. If it is blinking (new data) and then it is NOT blinking (after refresh), IE has noted a change in the page.

I'll try a couple of different settings to see what happens.

Note..it didn't USED to do this. I haven't changed my IE settings.

Yanno...I never quite appreciated the full extent of your SA'ed-ness on DRN. Guess you must've been toning things down quite a bit there!!

Cheers!

I'll go toss my cookie, then!

Well, here's a hoot for 'ya.

It just started working as it used to. I din't toss my cookie, change any IE setting, reboot or anything else.

..which means Inda changed something. But, he won't say 'cuz he'd rather we piddles think the whole thing is FM!

The blinker is an animated gif. This gifs first frame is not lit... maybe Wib's browser does not show these correctly. I could try to change the first frame to being lit and that may just show a green icon instead of the dark one for Wib but not a blinking one. I'll check the file when I get to work and see what I can do...

Can you see this one blinking Wib?

Or this one?
