Could someone please tell me if i put a michelin starcross 5 size 120/90.18 on the rear of my 2003 kdx 220 is that going to be ok?
concerned it will affect my handling? Looks like it will fit clearances should be ok. It came stock with a 100/100. 18
Also this is a low hour bike i was told stock pistons crack is this true?

That tire may actually measure about 100mm wide. Michelins tend to run narrow.
YES change that piston! I changed mine at only around 12 hours on bike and found a tiny hole ( soon to be crack) in one of the skirts.

I think he is trying to show you his damaged piston.
YES, change that piston out before you crank the bike again!
Can't help you with tire. I run a Kenda 110/100 with no problem but don't know how it relates to the Michelin.

A Michelin s12 120/90 18 fit on my 2000 model 200, so you should be fine.
