engine in or out for top end/ KIPS rebuild
Hi Planning to do my first top end rebuild and kips valve clean on a KDX200 year 2005 would like some comments on should i do this with the engine in the bike or removed. cheers

and a torque wrench...two tools that are indispensable. BTW I say out just because I'm old and hate working hunched over plus it gives you a chance to look over your frame cradle/swingarm/linkage mounts.

bufftester, Google a very recent invention for mechanics. It is called a ... (drum roll please) chair. :-) Sitting down low or having the bike up high is so much better than stooping over. Hunched over sucks. :-)

I hate getting scrunched over. Another one I love is the little pads for gardening that I can put a knee or two on without it hurting. Heck, I used to live in a different place and had the entire garage (KDXGarage, yuck yuck) covered in the foam pads from Harbor Freight. It made it easy to squat down onto my knees. Also, dropping a bolt, it did not run off so easily.
