Rim Weight?

Anybody know the weight of the stock rims? Front and back? I'm considering upgrading to the Tusk, Warp, or Excel rims but I'm curious to know what the stockers weigh and to compare prior to pulling the trigger. I've heard/read that the stock rims are quite strong and hold up well to abuse. Black rims look great too but I figure the stockers can always be painted...

pretty sure i recorded weight of rear oem rim and tusk impact rim.
can't tell you right now.
i can tell you the impact rim was a little heavier.

i replaced it due to a crack in rear rim as purchased.

regarding black rims, u probably know this, but powder coat. no paint.

If one is worried about rim weight, then painting and powder coating are going to add weight.

Hey Guys, thanks for the replies. Was trying to figure out what happened to the site but I got it figured out now.

o/d - Yes I did mean PC and not paint. Thanks for the input on the tusk rims, I have heard that they tend to be heavier. How has the impact rim been for you?

Jason - How much weight would you think PC adds?

I am not sure on the weight.

Thanks for figuring out the site. Some people have had trouble switching over after the upgrade.

I thought i had recorded weight of both oe & tusk impact rims but could not find it.
no issues at all with tusk impact rim. it's holding up well considering the terrain i ride.
