What color was the frame on the 2003 220? I googled it and came up with an incomplete answer.

Was it green or grey?

70 percent of the images I seen we're grey but the may not be labeled correctly? And I don't own a 03 220 so don't hold me to it... I'm sure someone on here knows it off the top of there head.

Although I do not have 2003, I have an 04 and the frame is grey and also an 03 on craigslist has a grey frame. Hope that helps.

Well, actually,.....no. It don't.

I'm looking at 2 '03's for sale online. One has grey frame...one has green frame.

What color frames did they manufacture in 2003? Grey, green, or both?

Even better, when did they switch from green to grey? Model year or mid-year?

I purchased my 2003 KDX 220 R brand new. The frame is grey/silver in color.

In the states the 2003 KDX200s were gray, the 220s were pale silver (a slightly different gray). They would remain that color to the end of production. 2002 was the last year for the green frames, but some of those may have bled into early 2003 models.

2002 was the last year for lime green frames. 1988 - 2002

2003 - 2004 is gentry gray.

It is not the first time someone got the year wrong in an ad.

Both KDX200 and KDX220R are the same colors.

2005 - 2006 is Metallic Phantom Silver 458.

Although I am in the UK my 220 is a 2003 & registered in December of that same year ... My frame is Green ...
I have seen over here a 2005 kdx & its frame was silver & its fuel tank was a Matt black .

OK, all USA sold

Anyone know where I can buy some green paint for a '02?
