Quick jetting question

Post by Energy47 »

Hey guys,

I thought I remember someone having a good "how to jetting tutorial" posted here. Can someone lead me to it? Thanks! H1

Quick jetting question

OK, I found it, but have a question. Since oil spooge is a result from improper jetting, is it typically one particular jet/needle height causing it, or can it be a combination?

It can definitely be a combination. Any of the three circuits can be rich enough to cause a mess. Very important to follow the guide to get it right. When jetting it, your bike should never see beyond 1/4 throttle until the pilot is dialed (unless its for the quick blip to see if it lean bogs). Then it should never see beyond 3/4 throttle until the needle is tuned.
