Hey new member.
I just got a 86 kdx 200 I don't know much about them. I just bought a intake manifold. And I took the carb apart and cleaned out the ethanol gas crud out. But it's still pouring gas out the bottom of the carb. I took out the float valve and cleaned it again and noticed that it doesn't have a rubber tip like a regular tip has. Is this normal. I've looked on internet to find a rebuild kit for this year but I'm not seeing anything only the previous year model.
Thanks

Re: 86 kdx 200 carb leaking gas
Welcome to kdxrider.net.
I think it should have the rubber tip. I don't see how it would seal well otherwise. Maybe the ethanol ate it up? I think you can buy just the float valve. It is a Mikuni carb stock, so look for a float valve that matches the online parts diagrams. (3.3) it shows on the diagrams.
