EBC Spring
I have installed new clutch springs because existing springs were below the working tolerance. The problem is I am not hitting the 78 in-lb torque spec until the spring bolts bottom out against the tabs. I wasn't certain if that should be the case, the manual is a little thin on that. The problem is once that happens the springs seem to be fully compressed.

Yes, the bolts that retain the clutch springs should be tightened down until they are against the posts on the clutch basket. Check to make sure they sent you the right springs. Lastly, from personal experience, the EBC springs make pulling the clutch a real pain. I run nothing but factory springs on my clutches.

Re: EBC Spring
I was interested in any replies as well, I saw the same issues with some springs I bought from amazon I think. The springs were fully compressed before the bolts were tightened correctly which won't work. If you can, get a refund.
