Me and the family came up to Huntsville, AL to get away from the hurricane. I live in Bradenton and my business is in Sarasota. It looks like we dodged a bullet. The neighbor told me everything looks ok at the house and we never even lost power.
The day before we left my daughter said "the garage would be the first thing to flood, you should bring your dirtbike and tools into the living room." My wife looked at us both over the top of her glasses but didn't object lol. I told my wife "look honey we have a dirtbike in the living room just like I've always wanted." Me and my friend Rob have always talked about having bikes in the house as part of the décor.
My heart goes out to the families who have lost all their belongings. What a nightmare that must be.
