I just bought new UFO shrouds and green side panels for my 97 KDX and realized they are the new "Kawasaki Green" and not the lime green that the original KDX plastics and gas tank are. Besides NOS parts on eBay and forums, are there anybody making true OEM color matching plastics for a 97 KDX? I know Babbit's has the tank, fenders, and headlamp, but no shrouds or green side panels. Thank you.
Ben

What are the part numbers of the parts you bought? UFO part numbers
Surely they make the pre-2005 shade of line green still.

Seems to me that UFOs colors have always been off a bit. I believe Maier was the original plastic manufacturer and if not, they at least have the colors right.

Not sure exactly. But they are straight from Dennis Kirk "exact fit." There's no doubt they fit, I just don't know if I want to go all the way with the newer shade of Kawasaki Green. Otherwise Ill have a collage of green on my bike and it'll bother me. I think I may just send them back and continue to search for originals. Ill also Look into Maier too. Thanks guys.

The part numbers are on the packages. Black or pink polka dot would also be an exact fit, but not the same color.

I looked on the UFO site. Other models like KX250 have just one number for a shade of green. What a bunch of BS!

Yeah I sent everything back today and just going with the white side panels instead. I will just have to keep the original shrouds. I kind of the like the "Kermit" green.
