Hey guys, got my enrichener plungers ordered from Jets R Us. Thanks for the reference. Have the case off and need to remove the clutch assembly to get at and repair that faulty kick starter. I broke a cheap plastic strap wrench that was holding fine. I suppose I need to order Kawasaki Flywheel Holder 57001-1313A listed in the manual unless someone has a better idea.

I use the Tusk engine lock up tool which is like a padded spark plug I got from rmatv (or eBay) for removing the flywheel or clutch if the right side engine cover isn't removed. I'm not convinced that using it puts any more stress on bearings than chopping the throttle at 10k rpms or high load lugging would do.

Yeah piston lock up tool. That is another one to consider.

Anyone remember who made the old white ones?? :hmm:

Steahly makes a white one that's sold on rmatv but the tusk one is metal and a dollar cheaper so I went for that one. I used to see motion pro white ones also but don't know if they're making them. So far I've had good luck with Tusk brand tools.

Steahly! That's it. Thank you. I think I have that one buried somewhere.

I think the only Tusk thing I own is the blind bearing puller. It worked well the one time I used.
