Hi fellow Kdx'er
I've completed my first top end rebuild on my new to me KDX, and while re-assembling the plastics, I'm left with 1 parts. looks like a spacer, but I'm really unsure where this is going.

I have a full FMF exhaust (garnly) if that helps
Thanks!

That looks like a spacer that goes in the rubber gas tank mounts.

It does look like it is the part that goes inside the rubber grommet. It is part# 92027 and is used in many locations on these bikes.
Here is a list that I can think of;
Lower rad shroud (1 Each side)
Radiator grommet (places each side)
Fuel Tank grommet (1 each side)
Front Fender (4)
Lower headlight grommet (1 each side)

Check your radiator mount bolts, that is the same spacer that goes in the rubber grommet on the radiator mounts and is easy to overlook when bolting the radiators on. For that matter, anywhere you have a rubber grommet with a bolt passing through it you should have one of these in there.
